Table 1: Full Depth Background Site Condition Standards: This category applies to the cleanest form of soil, suitable for a wide range of land uses including Agricultural, Residential, Parkland, Institutional, Industrial, Commercial, and Community properties. Soil meeting Table 1 standards is considered to have background levels of contaminants, making it highly versatile for various development projects.
 
Table 2: Industrial/Commercial/Community Property Use: Soil categorized under Table 2 is suitable for Industrial, Commercial, and Community property uses. While still considered clean, it may have slightly higher contaminant thresholds than Table 1 soil, but remains safe for these specific applications.
 
Table 3: Industrial/Commercial Use Only: This category of soil is restricted to Industrial or Commercial land uses. It has specific characteristics that make it appropriate for these types of sites, where the potential for human exposure is generally lower, and the land use is more controlled.
